JUST IN! Juv. Yellowtail Surgeons in from Mexico!!!

Very rarely seen are these Juv. Yellowtail Surgeons. They are really tricky to catch in the first place but these little guys can be even more crafty. Great for reef tanks, these little guys just dart around all over the place. Get them while we still do! Check out the video...a couple of guests included baby Passers & you may even see a small Blacknose Heniochus in the mix too!

New video & pictures of ~30 Yellowtail Surgeonfish @ Cortez Marine...

We've got a good amount of Yellowtail Surgeon (Prionurus punctatus) schooling in one of our 500 gallon holding tanks. These guys aren't seen very often due to the hard job of catching them. They are quick and require skilled net catchers to collect them safely.
